One of the most popular attractions is the Murchison Falls National Park, which is located on the Nile River and is home to stunning waterfalls, wildlife, and birdlife. Visitors can enjoy game drives, boat cruises, and hikes in the park. Another must-visit site is the Kibiro Salt Gardens, where visitors can witness the traditional salt-making process and learn about the local culture. The region is also home to Lake Albert, which offers scenic views and fishing opportunities, and the Bugungu Wildlife Reserve, where visitors can spot giraffes, buffaloes, and antelopes. Other popular attractions in the region include the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, the Busingiro Eco-Tourism Site, and the Fort Portal area, which features a rich history and stunning scenery. Itinerary

A 12-day itinerary in Uganda includes Rhino Sanctuary, Murchison Falls Park, Kibale Forest for chimpanzee trekking, Queen Elizabeth N.P, Ishasha for tree climbing lions, Bwindi for gorilla trekking, and Lake Mburo National Park.


Day 1: On Arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide who will transfer you to your Hotel.


Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls, you will have a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where Southern White Rhinos are being introduced in Uganda under the Rhino Fund.


Day 3: Take an early morning game drive through Borassus Palm Forest to Lake Albert. In the afternoon, take a boat ride to Murchison falls.


Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing tea plantations, and see 13 primate species like chimpanzees. Lunch en-route.


Day 5: Track chimps, guided walk at Bigodi Swamp for birdwatching & vegetation spotting. Managed by Kibale Association for Rural and Environmental organization.


Day 6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park after breakfast, crossing the equator and spotting wildlife on the way.


Day 7: Early morning game drive & afternoon boat ride on Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth NP. Diverse landscapes & abundant wildlife with scenic mountain views.


Day 8: Drive to Bwindi, home to Mountain Gorillas. En-route, game drive in Ishasha to search for Tree Climbing Lions.


Day 9: Morning Gorilla Trekking is unforgettable. Afternoon options include a village walk or a nature walk to Munyaga waterfalls.


Day 10: Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, rich in acacia woodland with varied habitats ranging from dry hillsides to swamps. Game drive on arrival.


Day 11: Morning nature walk, then breakfast. See elands, zebras, impalas, buffalos, hippos, and lions. After lunch, take a boat ride on Lake Mburo.


Day 12: Drive to Kampala with a lunch stop at the equator, then proceed to Entebbe for your flight back home.
