North West South

North, West, and South Uganda are regions with diverse tourist attractions. In the North, Murchison Falls National Park offers spectacular game drives, boat rides to the falls, and chimpanzee tracking in Budongo Forest. In the West, the gorilla trekking experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a highlight. Queen Elizabeth National Park offers game drives, boat rides on Kazinga Channel, and tree-climbing lion sightings in the Ishasha sector. In the South, Lake Mburo National Park offers game drives, nature walks, and boat trips. Cultural experiences are also abundant in all regions, including visits to pygmy communities and traditional villages.

Itinerary

This 14-day itinerary covers some of the best tourist sites in Uganda, including national parks, waterfalls, forests, swamps, and lakes. It also offers a chance to see a variety of wildlife, including gorillas, chimpanzees, lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, and various antelopes.


Day 1: Arrival and transfer to hotel in Entebbe.


Day 2: Drive to Murchison Falls NP, visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, and take a nature walk.


Day 3: Morning game drive, boat safari to the base of the falls, and hike to the top.


Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest NP, visit tea plantations, and nature walk in Bigodi Swamp.


Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and nature walk in Kibale Forest.


Day 6: Drive to Queen Elizabeth NP, game drive, and Kazinga Channel boat cruise.


Day 7: Early morning game drive & afternoon boat ride on Kazinga Channel in Queen Elizabeth NP. Diverse landscapes & abundant wildlife with scenic mountain views.


Day 8: Drive to Bwindi, home to Mountain Gorillas. En-route, game drive in Ishasha to search for Tree Climbing Lions.


Day 9: Morning Gorilla Trekking is unforgettable. Afternoon options include a village walk or a nature walk to Munyaga waterfalls.


Day 10: Drive to Lake Bunyonyi, relax, and enjoy optional activities such as canoeing or bird watching.


Day 11: Drive to Lake Mburo NP, game drive, and evening boat ride.


Day 12: Guided nature walk and drive to Kampala, stop at the equator for lunch.


Day 13: Drive to Jinja, visit the source of the Nile, and do optional activities such as white water rafting.


Day 14: Transfer to Kampala/Entebbe International Airport for departure.
