Itinerary

Featuring Uganda's most popular destinations such as Murchison Falls, Kibale Forest, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, Lake Mutanda, Mgahinga National Park, Lake Bunyonyi, Jinja, and Kampala. The trip includes various activities such as game drives, chimpanzee and gorilla tracking, boat trips, equator crossing, and optional adventure sports such as bungee jumping and white water rafting.


Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe International Airport, transfer to your hotel in Kampala for overnight stay.


Day 2: Start your journey by visiting the Uganda Museum, Bahai Temple, and Kasubi Tombs in Kampala.


Day 3: Drive to Jinja, the adventure capital of Uganda, and explore the source of the Nile, Bujagali Falls, and do some whitewater rafting.


Day 4: Take a boat ride to explore the beautiful Ssese Islands on Lake Victoria.


Day 5: Travel to Mbale town and hike Mount Elgon, the 4th highest peak in East Africa.


Day 6: Visit the Imbalu circumcision ceremony in the Bugisu region, and learn about the rich culture of the Bagisu people.


Day 7: Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Uganda’s most remote and beautiful parks.


Day 8: Drive to the Ishasha sector in the South and a game drive in the afternoon in search of the tree-climbing lions.


Day 9: Go on game drives in Kidepo Valley National Park, and spot some of the rare wildlife species such as the cheetah, bat-eared fox, and ostrich.


Day 10: Visit the Karamojong community and experience their unique culture and traditions.


Day 11: Travel to Murchison Falls National Park and take a boat ride to the bottom of the falls.


Day 12: Go on a game drive in Murchison Falls National Park, and see some of the big five wildlife species such as lions, elephants, buffaloes, and leopards.


Day 13: Drive to Hoima town and visit the Kibiro Salt Gardens and hot springs.


Day 14: Continue to Fort Portal town and visit the Amabere Caves, Crater Lakes, and the Kibale Forest National Park.


Day 15: Go on chimpanzee trekking and bird watching in Kibale Forest National Park.


Day 16: You shall have an exciting boat ride on Lake Bunyonyi. In the afternoon you may have optional activities; a Canoe boat ride, etc.


Day 17: Visit Queen Elizabeth National Park, and go on a boat ride along the Kazinga Channel.


Day 18: Go on a game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park and spot some of the park’s wildlife such as elephants, lions, leopards, and buffaloes.


Day 19: Travel to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.


Day 20: Go on gorilla trekking and experience the once-in-a-lifetime encounter with these gentle giants in their natural habitat.


Day 21: Drive to Jinja, visit the source of the Nile, and do optional activities such as white water rafting.


Day 22: Return to Kampala, and depart from Entebbe International Airport.
